Technicians are the backbone of our stores. We are interested in growing with candidates who have a serious interest in the automotive industry, and are hiring for all positions from entry level to experienced Master Technicians and everything in between.
Our shops are full service repair facilities, and work with all makes and models of vehicles- including Toyota, Honda, Volvo, Chevy, GM, Ford, CDJR, BMW, Nissan, Subaru, Volkswagen, and more. Experience is not required, however certified candidates (ASE, State Inspection, OEM/Brand Certifications, etc.) are compensated accordingly.
If you are a good fit for our team, we will provide you with hands-on experience to grow and build your career.
We believe in providing excellent service to our customers at every interaction. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic, service oriented team members to lead the charge in building exceptional experiences at every touchpoint! Our CSRs are the outward face of our stores, helping clients on the phone and in person to ensure all of their car care needs are met. Previous experience in the auto industry is not required to be successful in this role!
Our service advisors are the liaison between our technicians and our customers. After a vehicle has been inspected by a technician, the service advisor works to transparently and ethically relay all required information to our customers through an estimate. Our advisors help to educate our customers on the “why” behind necessary repairs and maintenance, in order to build trust and keep our clients coming back. They are also responsible for managing workflow in the shop, sourcing parts, and communicating with our CSRs in order to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Twenty-four years ago, Mark Smith left his corporate job and bought his first Midas store. Today, Midas of Richmond (MOR) operates six stores in the Central Virginia region (Short Pump, Church Hill, Scott’s Addition, Hull Street, Willow Lawn, Colonial Heights). There have been many changes over the years, but two aspects have remained constant.
We believe we are not just providing care car, but providing an experience. This is the cornerstone of the success of the business and why MOR has managed to build a long list of loyal customers since the doors first opened in 1998.
Cars don’t work without proper care, and neither do communities. That’s why Midas of Richmond does both. We are committed to actively serving five nonprofits in the Greater Richmond area.
We welcome entry level candidates who are interested in growing a career in the automotive industry! We offer a robust training program, which includes:
